Maryland's elected and business leaders present their outlook for the 2008 legislative session as it relates to issues of economic development at the sold out MEDA Winter Conference on January 10 in Annapolis. Issues of significant importance to the economic development community were identified and discussed. Senate President Mike Miller and House Speaker Michael Busch joined with Delegate Tony O'Donnell and Senator David Brinkley to take questions from the audience. Maryland Chamber of Commerce CEO Kathy Snyder, Greater Baltimore Committee CEO Don Fry, and Washington Board of Trade CEO Jim Dinegar, gave the business outlook and took questions from audience members as well. DBED Secretary Dave Edgerley received a warm welcome as luncheon keynote speaker.

Attendees were treated to a trolley tour around Annapolis after the conference. The tour was hosted by City of Annapolis and Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development.
