The mission of the MEDA Foundation is to offer educational workshops, courses, seminars, and conferences that increase the effectiveness of Maryland economic and community development practitioners, as well as their counterparts in the state who work in partnership to create jobs for Maryland's citizens.

The MEDA Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization that operates in support of the Maryland Economic Development Association (MEDA), which brings value to the business community of Maryland through its membership and programs. MEDA strives to provide a meaningful relationship that will benefit its 500+ members and partners.

MEDA's members, partners, and sponsors represent fields as diverse as International Business, Destination Marketing, Science and Security, Technology, Transportation, Real Estate Development, Land Planning, Workforce Housing, Finance, Telecommunications, Education, Government, and Economic Development. The core audience-those responsible for job creation in our state-is the strongest link in a statewide network that has Maryland's prosperity as its mission.
