Introduction of Jeff Salkin

I’m very pleased to introduce our keynote speaker. Jeff Salkin is a Maryland native who has been a highly respected television and radio reporter in the Baltimore-Washington area for the past 30 years. He is currently host of the programs, “Your Money & Business” and “Direct Connection” on Maryland Public Television. He also anchors MPT’s weekly “State Circle” program that focuses on state government and public policy issues. Previously, he was a news reporter for WBAL, WJZ and WJLA television. He also was executive producer of Bloomberg Morning News, a business program syndicated on public television stations in the 1990s, and was manager of media services for the NASDAQ stock market. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
