Membership Types:

Active Membership
An individual employed by or affiliated with an organization whose primary mission fosters economic growth in Maryland is eligible for Active Membership.

College Student Membership
A college student with a professional interest in economic development may become a member of MEDA. A College Student Member will have the rights and privileges of an Active Member.

Life Membership
Life Membership can be bestowed upon an individual who, by virtue of his or her longstanding interest, participation, and leadership in economic development, has made outstanding contributions to the economic climate and growth of the State of Maryland. A Life Member candidate is submitted to the Awards Committee for consideration, presented to the Board of Directors for a vote of approval, and presented at the Awards Ceremony during the MEDA Annual Conference. Life Members will have all the rights and privileges of Active Membership. A Life Member shall not pay dues.

MEDA Application For Membership

Members are accepted into membership by election of the next MEDA Conference. Membership in MEDA ends June 30 of the fiscal year you join the organization unless you join after the Winter (January) Conference which moves your membership end date to June 30 of the following fiscal year. The administration fee is required only once; renewal dues will deduct the $25 fee automatically. Invoices for renewal will be emailed in May of each year. Membership and all its benefits are by individual only. Membership and its benefits may not be transferred to another.
