MEDA 2008 Fall Conference on Business Retention
Economic Developers deal every day with the threat that one of the companies that employs their residents will relocate to another state. Knowing that existing businesses are responsible for approximately 80% of job and economic growth in our community, Maryland , like other states, has taken a strong position on retaining those jobs.
