Join regional business leaders for a conversation with Dr. Redonda Miller, President of The Johns Hopkins Hospital, and Dr. Mohan Suntha, President and CEO of the University of Maryland Medical Center University Campus.
Hear from the leadership of Baltimore’s ‘medical bookends’ about the economic impact that these institutions provide, from patient care to research and beyond. Learn about their vision and whether they see themselves as competitors or collaborators. They will also discuss the impact that the Affordable Care Act has had on medical service delivery in recent years and their concerns surrounding new health care initiatives emanating from Washington, D.C., and the potential impact on the delivery of medical care. Hear their view on the future of medical care for aging Baby Boomers, people living longer as a result of medical advances and how they are preparing to meet that challenge.
