MEDA HOSTS ANNUAL CONFERENCE ON THE FUTURE OF PHYSICAL AND SOCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE FOR ECONOMIC IMPACT
BALTIMORE, MD – The members of the Maryland Economic Development Association will focus on the Future of Physical and Social Infrastructure for Economic Impact at the 2022 MEDA Annual Conference. This event will be held from Sunday, April 24 through Tuesday, April 26 at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay in Cambridge, MD. This conference will emphasize the importance of understanding the shifts made throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and will help economic developers expand opportunities in their communities.
The last few years have brought a rapid pace of change on a local, national and global scale.
Now is the time to discuss and rethink the transformations happening in social and physical infrastructure, and how they reflect shifting priorities. Infrastructure is essential to create cohesive, economically vibrant communities. Experts in economic equality, small business development, multimodal transportation, broadband, workforce development, and additional topics will break down how to maintain a positive outlook on future economic development and create opportunities to enhance community investment.
