Please join us on February 12, 2025, for Economic Development Day in Annapolis! Held during the legislative session in Annapolis, Economic Development Day is your opportunity to engage with key officials on the issues that impact your job creation efforts. Join us in person to connect with legislators, visit the State House to observe hearings, and learn more about economic development-related legislation that will be considered by the Maryland General Assembly during the 2025 session!
Here’s what you can expect on February 12:
Welcome
Where: Annapolis City Hall
When: 8:30 – 10:00 AM

This session, organized by MEDA, will serve as a platform for networking and informing attendees about legislation related to economic development that the Maryland General Assembly is considering in the 2025 session.
General Legislation Session
Where: Maryland State House
When: 10 AM – 12 PM
Observe proceedings from the upper level as legislators discuss critical bills and policies shaping economic development in Maryland.
Lunch
Where: Annapolis
When: 12 – 1 PM
Individuals will disperse for an hour to eat lunch independently.
Legislative Hearings
Where: Senate and House Buildings
When: 1 PM
