Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation: Agricultural Tour

Planned in conjunction with the Maryland Department of Agriculture, this tour will highlight farm-based businesses and educate local and state leaders on the importance of agriculture to Maryland’s economy.   The tour will also demonstrate how farmers are diversifying their operations and provide better understanding of issues such as value-added agriculture, agri-tourism, best management practices and the importance of the equine industry.  Stops include Hopewell Farm in Owings, Greenstreet Gardens in Lothian, En-Tice-Ment  Meats in Harwood and Dodon Winery in Davidsonville.
