Baltimore Innovation Week

The 7th annual Baltimore Innovation Week will take place from Oct. 6 to Oct. 12, 2018 across a variety of venues celebrating the technology, entrepreneurship and innovation communities in and around Baltimore.

From its origins in 2012, the goal of the week has been to celebrate the existing vibrant community and welcome more to join. Ahead of the seventh edition, local long time leader Emerging Technology Centers (ETC) steps up to lead the week’s organization to refresh the programming. The ETC will be supported by the founding organizer of the series, Technical.ly, the network of local tech news sites, which will focus on its annual Developer Conference which will take place on Oct. 10th, 2018.

With the help of the ETC, dozens of tech community groups and educational institutions will independently produce daily official #BIW18 events categorized into seven tracks including Access, Business, Civic, Creative, Media, Dev (short for web and product development) and Sciences that shine a spotlight on the local establishments and startups.
