CAMI Event: Cybersecurity Ice Cream Social – Creating A More Cyber Secure State Through Collaboration

This program is part of the Cybersecurity Association of Maryland, Inc.’s (CAMI) MD Cybersecurity Solutions Showcase event (details below).

Maryland state/county/local elected officials, economic development officials, and IT and other key staff members: Meet John Evans, Maryland’s CISO, at this special Ice Cream Social and hear what Maryland is doing to be a more cyber secure state and how Maryland counties and local jurisdictions can collaborate with the State to minimize and manage your cybersecurity risks and potentially save money in the process. John would also like to hear from you on your local needs and ideas you may have for how the state could help you elevate your organization’s cybersecurity posture.

Attendance is limited to Maryland state, county and local elected officials, economic development officials, and IT and other key staff members. No cost to attend, but registration is required.

*The MD Cybersecurity Solutions Showcase is being hosted from 12:30-4:45 p.m. on September 19 at M&T Stadium and is designed to connect commercial businesses, government agencies and nonprofit organizations with the information, innovation, products, services and resources needed to be cyber secure. The event will feature 75-100 of Maryland’s cybersecurity providers showcasing their products and services, “Ask a Cyber Specialist” information stations and a closing panel discussion that includes Under Armour’s CISO Matt Dunlop, MD CISO John Evans and others TBD. Individuals registering to attend the Ice Cream Social are invited to also attend the Showcase and panel discussion at no charge.
