ETC Event: Small Business Innovation Research Workshop
Energetics Technology Center (ETC), in collaboration with the Rural Maryland Council, is hosting an SBIR Workshop on April 19, to review the leverage and financial support Small Business Innovation Research grants offer inventors and start up businesses. The program is designed to assist and prepare grant writers with their proposals and introduce individuals to resources available in the community to help entrepreneurs develop and move their technology toward commercialization and product sales.
Whether you have ever submitted an SBIR grant proposal or not, plan to attend this free session. Hear from Department of Navy SBIR offices, Southern Region Small Business Development Center, and an ETC Entrepreneur-in-Residence who will provide information regarding grant writing best practices and be available to offer initial preparation tips onsite. This event will be held in building BI113E (Center for Business and Industry, room 113E) at the La Plata Campus of the College of Southern Maryland.
This training workshop will teach how to develop a successful SBIR grant proposal. SBIR program managers from NAWCAD and IHEODTD will discuss how the SBIR program works at their respective labs. Sponsored by the Rural Maryland Council.
