The Harford County Department of Economic Development makes businesses like yours a priority – already this year we have visited nearly 10 percent of county businesses and have supported countless others via phone, email, events and more. During Harford County Economic Development Week, celebrated October 21 to 25 to coincide with Economic Development Week in Maryland, we recognize county businesses celebrating milestone years of service and host multiple resource events to showcase the talents and resources available to the business community. If your business is celebrating 25, 50, 75, or 100 years of business in Harford County in 2024, we would love to recognize you! Please email us with your business name, the number of years of service in Harford, and primary contact information so we can schedule a visit.

Monday, October 21

• Economic Analysis Strategy Session – a presentation by Matrix Design Group on Harford’s current and future economic conditions (see flier below)

Tuesday, October 22

• Business Leadership Breakfast, open to businesses located in Riverside or Belcamp. Contact Lisa Krysiak for more information.
• Harford County Chamber of Commerce’s Harford Awards – an annual celebration of local business success

Wednesday, October 23

• County Executive Bob Cassilly and his Economic Development leadership team visits businesses celebrating 25, 50, 75, or 100+ years of service in Harford

Thursday, October 24

• Tour of Aberdeen Proving Ground with Greater Baltimore Committee and regional economic development leaders

Friday, October 25

• Dare 2 Live Well Professional Development Breakfast – a networking event for young professionals and entrepreneurs; continental breakfast provided
