PUBLIC NOTICE: Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development to Hold Public Hearings on Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Consolidated Plan for State Fiscal Year 2026–2030
The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) is seeking public input on the draft State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2026–2030 Consolidated Plan. The plan outlines how federal funding will be used to improve housing, support community development, and provide economic opportunities across the state.
The Consolidated Plan is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and includes programs such as:
- Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
- HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME)
- Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG)
- Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA)
- Housing Trust Fund (HTF)
Public Hearings:
DHCD will host four in-person public hearings and one virtual hearing to receive feedback from Maryland residents. All hearings are open to the public and accessible to people with disabilities.
