Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation Names Victoria Zelefsky Vice President of Communications
Annapolis, MD. (June 26, 2024) – The Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation (AAEDC) announces the hiring of Victoria Zelefsky as Vice President of Communications, strengthening the organization’s senior leadership team as it enters a new phase of growth.

Working with our senior leadership team, she will offer a fresh perspective that will be crucial to setting AAEDC’s long-term strategic vision.”
Zelefsky will lead internal and external communications, public and government relations, public policy, brand messaging, marketing strategy, and special events for AAEDC, a quasi-governmental organization based in Annapolis, Maryland.

Zelefsky, who joined AAEDC in April 2024, hit the ground running by managing the communication strategy for the organization’s recent request for proposals for the redevelopment of a County-owned property in Glen Burnie. She will continue to advance the organization’s mission forward through comprehensive corporate communications strategies and the execution of strategic marketing plans, aiming to enhance business retention and promote Anne Arundel County as a premier business destination.
Bringing over a decade of experience in communications, digital marketing, and public relations to AAEDC, Zelefsky joined the organization in the spring of 2024, after serving as Director of Brand & Communications at The Menkiti Group + Keller William Capital Properties, in Washington, D.C., and as Creative Director at Kurv Agency. She has also held leadership roles at Bon Appetit Management Company at Johns Hopkins University, MenuTrinfo, the Monte Restaurant Group, and Squisito Franchise Enterprises.
An avid traveler and professional opera singer turned marketer, Zelefsky possesses a Bachelor of Music in music from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master of Music from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. A native of Colorado who’s happy to now call Anne Arundel County home, Zelefsky resides in Arnold, Maryland, with her husband and one-year-old son.
